The school has been established to primarily consolidate the gaps in the Music, Media & Technology industries. It is by now very obvious that all of these artistic subjects are fast becoming reliant on similar technology to produce and advance the medium.
We believe, that technology is now available to everyone and is already in most homes. We are speaking of course of the Personal Computer.
It’s all very well becoming confident on your musical instrument or even playing in an innovative and tight band, but who’s going to help you when you want to start recording your music or even produce an entire album of your works? Similarly who is going to help a photographer turn their work in to an interactive Flash project or time up musical events with animations?
With this at the forefront of our minds we have produced a wealth of educational courses which cross-reference each other and use no more than the average Personal Computer to aid in the production of such products.
Here at the RHSM you can study your instrument in it’s contempory format whilst attending Audio, Video, Computer, Technology & Media Studies which will ensure your contempory skills are used in production.
No where else will you find this diversity. No where else will give you the technical support you need to achieve production yourself.
Tuition Price List
All instrumentation and theory lessons can be paid for per week at the start of each lesson or per term in advance. Each term is 16 weeks long and there are 3 terms per year = 48 weeks per year, leaving 4 weeks for booked holidays and special occasions.
Notes:
The price for booking per term is cheaper by £2.50 per 30 min or £5.00 per 1 hour lessons. This is because you are booking and paying in advance, however, there is no reimbursement if you cancel or cannot attend a lesson for any reason. In addition, you can book a month in advance for holidays and special occasions. Furthermore, if the teacher cancels or fails to show, you do not pay and if you have pre paid you will be fully reimbursed.
Please note all lessons loose around 2.5 minutes setting up and 2.5 minutes in closure and turnaround of students. Therefore a 30 minute lesson is realistically 25 minutes teaching time.
Cancellations Cancellations giving 24 hours notice or less are unacceptable and the full lesson price is due to be paid at your next lesson.
Cancellations giving between 24 to 48 hours notice are partly acceptable and half lesson price is due to be paid at your next lesson.
Cancellations giving 48 hours and more are fully acceptable and there is no fee for this.
